My defence client is looking to install incremental releases of updates to this ASP .NET software over the next two years. They require a Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) expert to oversee releases using InstallShield and a migration from Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2005 to Microsoft Team Foundation (TFS) Server 2008. Responsibilities will include: * Maintenance of existing EVE (Embedded Vector Editor) Web technical documentation. * Maintain the EVE Web MSI Installation Package project developed with FLEXERA Installshield 2009 and 2010. * Migrate the application from Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2005 to Microsoft Team Foundation (TFS) Server 2008. The successful candidate will have proven expertise with high-quality, reliable installation and server maintenance and migration. You will have performed similar roles with defence clients over the last few years and are now looking for a place in a large, ambitious project where you can make a real impact. You will have the following technical experience: * At least three years experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2005 and 2008. * This experience will include performance of installation, configuration, migration and maintenance tasks. * At least five years experience building software application installation packages with Installshield 2009 or 2010. * Experience implementing Project Information Portals - Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server. This is an excellent contract as the successful candidate is likely to be retained for almost two years. The rate of pay is an all-inclusive, limited rate which is negotiable depending on experience.
