Web Team Lead - Winchester to £45k
The purpose of the Web Team Lead is to develop and support the company's intranet, extranet and internet web sites.
Technical skills required:-
Visual Studio, .Net ASP, CSS, XML, XHTML, SQL, Google API's, Immediacy, SharePoint, Livelink, IIS 5.1 or later versions. At least 5 years providing support and development for web applications in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities, Activities & Key Deliverables * Responsible for the continued development of web applications. * Responsible for web based application service catalogue. * Responsible for the web based design process. * Responsible for the delivery of web based applications. * Responsible for the unit and SIT testing phases. * Participates in functional support for end users of web applications. * Participates in design creation. * Participates in support for UAT phases. * Provides implementation expertise. * Provides delivery capability. * Provide governance for all web based application development. * Provide relevant user education/training required as part of the activity to resolve support calls. * Liaise closely with other IT groups/teams as necessary to ensure the resolution of support calls. * Produce and maintain system documentation. * Promote an effective Safety, Health and Environment culture, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within area off operation. * Maintain a secure working environment in line with the requirements of the Security Policy in order to protect individuals, information and assets.
Required Qualifications/Skills Detailed knowledge of a variety of web application architectures. Experience of providing support for web applications. Knowledge and experience of common IT applications in use in business. Keen interest in understanding the use of applications functionality to deliver business process. Ability to demonstrate a customer focus, with a genuine desire to help others. Problem solving and analytical skills. Team player with a willingness to acquire and share knowledge. Logical mind, with a methodical approach to work. Good communication and influencing skills. Practical and "hands-on" approach to problem solving. Resolute and determined character.
